The Traits of True Champions
Dictionaries define champions simply as persons who finish first or persons who are the winners of a competition or event.
But winning an event or making it to the top of a profession does not necessarily mean that the person made it to that highest rank by means of his or her abilities. External factors such as networks and favouritism among others, are in many cases the determinant of who is crowned the champion.
That said, below are some of the traits of true champions.
-Champions see and start striving towards possibilities before others can even fathom the possibility.
-Champions know the world does not owe them anything, and as such they work and or train extremely hard to achieve success.
-Champions are positive thinkers; they believe in themselves and their potential.
-Champions visualize their successes, as they know the importance of positive mental imagery.
-Champions have a burning desire to succeed.
-Champions are disciplined, persistent and consistent.
-Champions are extremely focused on their set goals.
-Champions have an unyielding love for what they do.
-Champions are always striving to outdo themselves.
-Champions don’t make excuses.
-Champions know the importance of surrounding themselves with positive people and things.
Are you a true champion?
