In a certain species of peas the gene for brown seeds is dominant to the gene for green seeds. The seeds were planted and pollen from brown seeded plant used to pollinate flowers of a green seeded plant. It turned out that the seeds of 50 of the fruits had brown seeds while 38 had green seeds.

a) What are the genotypes of the parents and offsprings? Using genetic diagrams, explain fully how you arrived at your answer
